Journalist Eddie Brock is trying to take down Carlton Drake, the notorious and brilliant founder of the Life Foundation. While investigating one of Drake's experiments, Eddie's body merges with the alien symbiote Venom -- leaving him with superhuman strength and power. Eddie struggles to control his new and dangerous abilities as he sets out to stop Drake from continuing with his plans of turning humans en masse into full Symbiotes.
